The painting was made on
2020 during the self-isolation period on the island of Saaremaa.
Entering and exiting the island was prohibited for 2 months. The painting
depicts – the barren port
of KUIVASTU, the sense of
unease, anticipation, disorientation. That was what the residents of the island
felt during those troubled times.
